Snowy, gloomy Sunday

UP 6874 east @ Beverly.

A beautiful portrait of Prairie Creek in SW Cedar Rapids.

Job 32 pulling 30 cars from the South side of
Beverly Yard, thru the "uprights" of CP A086.

UPY 698(Job 32) passing MP 86. He would wait
for one merchandise westbound before making
a move across to the North side of Beverly Yard.

A couple of CNW hoppers were in the midst of the
30 cars including this...CNW #490945.

The herald off of one of the CNW hoppers; still in
great condition.

While Job 32 waited for the westbound, the conductor
killed some time on the rear to build a snowman-
a hobo snowman, that is. ;)

After Job 32 cleared up, this westbound coal empty
stopped near the 21st Street SW crossing.
Found out why.....

.....he set off the second unit for Beverly Yard to use.

UP 7185 after the set-off was made.

UP 5906 couples back onto the train and continues
westbound to the PRB mines.

The rear DPU is a UP 7440.

Few minutes later this "highballing" eastbound
empty autorack passes by MP 86.

CRANDIC's Job 12 pulls a cut of cars up toward the
"P" main @ 26th Street SW.

Final shot of the day is UP 7600 west
coming around the bend with stacks.

Thanks for stopping by. See ya next time!!!
