Center Point Historical Museum & evening out on town.

Here is a preview of some of the displays at the museum;
starting off with Waterloo, Cedar Falls & Northern's #100.

The trio of heavy insulators on top carry AC power. The bottom
half carries DC power for the electric cars. Here, one has taken the
siding to let a hot car pass by.



Shares Certificate

This plaque was given by the Iowa National
Historical Foundation, to the depot when it was dedicated.

The depot back in 1873 when it was the Burlington, Cedar Rapids and Northern.

An old camera on display.

Center Point was home to a canning factory where they made
Iowa Sweet Cream Corn. The WCF&N served the factory.

to Cedar Rapids is the former WCF&N Rwy.

This evening in town.
The last portion of the span has been installed. Now the process of
laying down track and final touch-ups before reopening sometime in
the next couple weeks or three.
